First of all the starters are huge! 2 of us got the mixed tempura *and* karaage expecting a couple pieces of each and were very surprised. Rolls are unique, simple and perfectly executed. Really wish I took pics but it's so gauche now to see people snapping their food.

Wow! I just went for date night with my daughter (back from college) and had the best sushi in the Bay Area!!! The Omakase was superb!!! The highlight was hamachi with truffle and the unagi was the best I’ve ever tasted. We also had the lion king (because which was “just right”! Our server was terrific - she recommended the chef special, Ika Sugata (Grilled whole Squid with Jalapeño & Mango 🤩) We also got the delicious Garlic Edamame and took an order of Matcha Tres Leche to go. It wasn’t “cheap” but it was soooo worth it!!! We will be back!

I'm not a big giver of five stars, and this place deserves them. I have been eating sushi for many decades, and seldom do I find a restaurant where every item is excellent. We spent an hour engaged in the pastime of reveling in the taste, texture and complexity of every item, from edamame to the entrees. Wonderful food, with a fresh vision.

It's exactly as it was billed. A great middle of the night dive bar with the cheapest burgers ever. If you visit Chicago, it's a must see. And remember, "no fries, chips"

Went here for the first time on new years eve. It was awesome, and they even had child chopsticks for our 3 year old. Really great spot.
