Everything that we have ordered has been fresh and delicious. Unfortunately due to the freeway expansion it will be closing soon. We have made many memories here; they will be missed by our family and community. Thank yall for over 40yrs of Great food & Great service. May ya'll continue to be blessed and well see ya'll at the Kim Son Buffet 😁

Absolutely delicious and authentic! Kim Son in downtown Houston never disappoints. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. The menu offers a wide range of traditional Vietnamese and Chinese dishes, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. The dim sum is a must—fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. I also highly recommend the salt & pepper shrimp and the pho, which had a rich, savory broth. Great portions, reasonable prices, and perfect for both casual lunches and special dinners. One of my go-to spots when craving Asian cuisine in Houston!

Had an amazing Mothers Day Lunch with my college son! It was Saturday 2:00pm, there was about 15min wait. Everyone was kind and hospitable! Dinner prices thou. No lunch menu! Plates were amply served for price! We had plenty of leftovers! My LOVE LOVE was the Hot and Sour soup! It was sooo good! Maybe it’s got Magic on it! The Vietnamese rolla were ok. I’ve had better. Food was well prepared and service was Great!

I have been a customer for years now. I have always loved the food, service and the atmosphere. The only upsetting thing about our last visit is, I stepped out for maybe 10 minutes to use the ladies room and the server approached my husband and says if you need help with English someone can help translate. Absolutely no need for that, yes he is Hispanic and you can tell by his skin tone but he can most definitely order his own food without assistance. It would be nice if you spoke to the customers first rather than being prejudice.

My overall experience was okay here, we’ve been wanting to try it since we drive by constantly and we ordered a variety of food, crab Rangoon and a bowl of soup. The crab Rangoon had little to no filling I took a picture after a bite and had but a smidge of filling. Soup had good flavor but came out lukewarm. The entrees on the other hand were pretty decent. The service was good and the waitress was attentive at filling our drinks though
