For families who feel unsure about where to begin in the field of music, I would highly recommend starting with the Animal Adventures class. It was a wonderful introduction to music for our daughter. During the time she participated in the Animal Adventures class, our daughter was able to spend her time freely and comfortably while becoming familiar with a variety of instruments as well as reading music. Because of that experience, she was able to start piano very smoothly. In her current piano class, the teacher clearly shows our daughter what she should focus on and also helps us as parents understand how we can best support her. We truly appreciate this guidance. The teachers are wonderful, and the staff members are always kind and thoughtful. The overall atmosphere at La Jolla Music is very warm and welcoming, which allows our daughter to feel relaxed and truly enjoy each lesson. Even when we need to change days or times due to other activities, the staff kindly help adjust the schedule whenever possible, which makes it much easier for us to continue. We look forward to seeing our daughter continue to grow while enjoying music.

Guy at the cash register was surly and uninterested. Very limited selection of flute books/music. I suppose they could order what I was looking for, but I can do that myself. Waste of my time to go here.
