Our family had a wonderful experience at L'Academy. Danni does an excellent job managing the center and maintaining clear, consistent communication with parents. Our daughter thrived under the care of experienced teachers like May, who supported her growth and development with genuine warmth and attentiveness. The facility is kept very clean and there are separate playgrounds for the younger and older kids. I highly recommend this daycare to other parents seeking quality care for their children.

There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for this daycare. They have cared for our son with a dedication and tenderness that has truly been evident since he was in the nursery, and seeing how he has grown and learned during this time fills us with joy and peace of mind. One of the things we value most is the excellent communication. Every day we receive detailed updates on what he ate, how he slept, and the activities he did, which gives us great peace of mind and makes us feel very connected to his routine. Additionally, each month we receive a newsletter with photos, news, and sneak peeks into what he's learning, which perfectly complements the daily reports and allows us to closely monitor his development. Our son attends year-round, and that has been a great benefit to our family. We know he's making the most of his time surrounded by love, play, learning, and lots of smiles.

L’Academy Hayes Valley is a perfect fit not just for our son but also our family. Our son has been attending L’Academy since he was 4 1/2 months old and he is now 2 1/2 years old. All the teachers have been so supportive given his developmental delays. They are genuinely caring and you could tell how much he loves it there. Relocating to Potrero Hill meant getting up earlier and longer commute, but he has bonded with all the teachers, we had to follow them! Thank you Danni and all the teachers - we consider you as part of our family!

Our daughter has been going to L’academy since she was 18 months. She’s now 4.5 and she’s thriving there. So much so we decided to keep her there until she goes to Kindergarten. She has Gina and Eric right now as her teachers and they are wonderful. They nurture her curiosity, work with her on developing her social skills and teach her English, math, Chinese and science and more. She likes to come home and tell us what she’s learned. In fact all the teachers at l’academy are amazing. They care for her as if she’s part of the family. The community at l’academy has been very helpful over the years, we’ve made many friends that have helped us navigate SF schools, general parenting and toddler tantrums. Her favorite things about school would include the amazing park, the kung fu lessons and chicken fried rice (homemade). We couldn’t have asked for a better preschool experience. Danni is the school director and she has always been so supportive and helpful in guiding the kids and incredibly hands on. We would 100% recommend L’academy.

L’Academy Mandarin Immersion Preschool has been an absolute gift for our family. From the moment our daughter started, it was clear she was in a nurturing, stimulating, and culturally rich environment. The teachers are incredibly caring, warm, and deeply dedicated to the children’s well-being and development. What really sets L’Academy apart is their thoughtful approach to bilingual education. Our daughter not only gained confidence in Mandarin but also developed a genuine love for the language. She would memorize full songs and sing them at home. The immersion program is beautifully integrated into everyday activities, making language learning a natural and joyful experience. The staff are culturally sensitive and creative, exposing the children to a wide range of developmental and artistic activities, from reciting Chinese poems to Kung Fu. We were especially touched by the daily summaries the teachers wrote—in Mandarin!—documenting her progress, observations, and special moments. These daily reflections showed just how closely they paid attention to her growth and how much they cared. We are so grateful to L’Academy for laying such a strong foundation for our daughter’s future. We couldn't recommend them more highly!

We have been enrolled at L'Academy Hayes Valley since May 2024. We have been so happy with Danni's leadership role as director. She is so communicative, responsive, and caring. The staff is very supportive and nurturing, providing my son a safe place that he loves. The quality of care from hot breakfast, lunch, and snack, to kung fu classes, and the large classroom spaces is top tier. My son has a language delay, which he has been able to overcome with the help of his teachers, while also learning mandarin. We love the holiday shows where the kids get to showcase their personalities, and put on a performance. There is much effort to build a strong community with monthly family socials. Danni and staff put so much care into the cleanliness, upkeep, and structured program of this facility. We look forward to many more years to grow together.
