First time attending any sort of dance class with zero previous dance experience and I absolutely loved the free taster and beginner course. The lessons are extremely supportive, engaging and lots of fun. I am loving seeing the progress made from week to week and I can’t wait to continue my journey with Latin roots. It is also a great way to meet new people and have the opportunity to dance with several different people in a single class. I would highly recommend giving these classes a try if you are interested in bachata or salsa no matter what level you are at!

I’ve taken a few salsa classes before, but after taking both salsa and bachata at Latin Roots, I finally feel like I’m truly learning how to dance. Eleana and Wellington are fantastic instructors: warm, patient, fun, and incredibly welcoming. The classes move at a great pace, and their focus on technique really stood out to me. I’m heading back for Level 2 next month and fully plan to continue my dance journey with them.

I haven’t danced in quite a while and had lost a lot of confidence, but the patience and excellent teaching at Latin Roots Edinburgh has made such a huge difference. Wellington and Eleanna are incredibly skilled and supportive, and they helped me not only improve quickly but genuinely enjoy dancing again. The students are also very friendly, which makes the whole experience welcoming, relaxed, and fun. Highly recommended!

Lovely instructors! So patient and super friendly. I started my journey with Latin Roots knowing nothing about Salsa and Bachata, therefore not feeling very confident in my ability. However instructors Elenna and Wellington have been amazing, so welcoming and patient throughout each class.Helping boost my confidence Absolutely love the classes and learning a new style of dance. 100% recommend

After months of thinking about it, I finally decided to join Latin Roots in Edinburgh after attending a taster session — and I’m so glad I did! With no prior dance experience, I was a bit nervous at first, but Eleanna and Wellington were incredibly welcoming and instantly put me at ease. I’m now thoroughly enjoying my Salsa and Bachata lessons, and what truly makes the experience special is the wonderful sense of community. Everyone is so friendly, supportive, and respectful. I also attended their Halloween A Bailar party and had an amazing time learning new routines and dancing the night away. Highly recommend!
