Received as a gift, went to the 1st Weds. class at the Hop Stop in Poway, and had a really nice time! Leo is very laid-back and made us all feel comfortable. His instructions are clear and easy to follow and we were all really pleased with our cherry blossom paintings!

We had the best time at Brews and Brushes at Hop Stop with Leo Angelo Art! My parents gave this to me as a gift, and it ended up being seriously one of the most fun experiences. We painted a mountain scene with cherry blossoms, and Leo showed us some really cool techniques that made the whole thing feel doable, even if you’re not super “artsy.” He’s such a great instructor—super patient, really encouraging, and just has this calm, grounding energy. Whenever I started to get a little self-critical about my painting, Leo was right there to remind me how great it looked and to reinforce that that’s the beauty of art: we were all painting the same scene, yet everyone interpreted it so differently. Honestly just such a fun, feel-good experience. Can’t wait to do it again!
