This is my second year working with Li & Zheng on tax filing, and overall I have had a great experience with Karen. During our initial consultation, Karen addressed all the questions and concerns I had. She provided a detailed questionnaire and checklist for me to fill out, and I handed all my tax documents to her to work on the filing. Throughout the whole process, she was very responsive and professional, which was reassuring. It took her about 1–2 weeks to complete, and the fee is also reasonably priced.

Referred to my business as doing me a "favor"-imagine insulting a new client this way that can bring you many more clients! Favors are free. This is business and its transactional-so its not a favor. I was told verbatim "I will let you know when your taxes are accepted". Crickets for a week. I check for an update and get a casual already filed. I lost a whole week for nothing when I could have used that time to set up payments with IRS. Acted like I was too poor to be paid attention to, rushed through phone calls, Nary an apology just "busy we are working overtime"--thats some bad customer service. And to insult a new client that way? My $300 and referrals going somewhere else next year. Wow.

I've used their income tax prep services for about 3 years now. I like that the entire process can easily be done via email, and via their secure website portal. When it's time for me to send them my information, copies of forms, etc., they first email me a document that contains about 20 or so items/questions that I need to respond to....things like my full name/address/SS....then info on charitable contributions...stock trades/dividends, etc. The usual. It's very easy to follow along and just answer the questions, save the document and then email it back to them. Uploading copies of 1099 forms, W-2's etc to their website platform is also very easy. In mid-Feb (when it's not quite as busy as say later in March, or early May), they turned around my income tax return in under 2 weeks...and I think closer to 1 week. I definitely recommend them!
