ULTIMATE Q REVIEWER!
The cold impersonal person who sits upfront I shall affectionately refer to as “Karen” has poor listening skills and showed no empathy for our situation when we called. Our therapist is aware I have chronic severe migraines associated with the PTSS.We called several hours before our 2pm appointment to reschedule for another day because of a migraine preventing me from being in any kind of light. She insisted if we didn’t take the available 3pm appointment that same day we would be charged a $100 cancellation fee despite our provider being aware of my migraines occurring 23/31 days a month. She refused to speak with our couples counselor insisting the “insurance provider” is the one who decides whether or not we get charged the fee. She ended up making some incoherent rude comment then disconnecting and transferring us to another person who quickly rescheduled the appointment. However, when we returned for the next 2 AND FINAL APPOINTMENTS the front desk staff still hounded us for the $100 despite our therapist telling us they had taken care of it. “Karen” should be working from home on a computer processing documents or alone in a dark corner of a factory somewhere pushing a button on an assembly line. She should never have contact with other human beings especially ones with special needs. She is not even capable of interacting with service animals let alone people with PTSS who need them to leave the house and come to therapy. If you want to avoid corporate greed then find a therapist group who are more about peoples mental health than collecting money from people who may or may not have it. If you need therapy in a save environment this is not the place to go as long as “Karen” is not given coaching and counseling to continue employment here. She obviously doesn’t have to take an oath to do no harm because she definitely does me harm every time I encounter her.
