This post is long overdue because I have been trying my best to determine how to write a post the properly captures how impeccable Lina’s work is and how kind of a person she was while working with myself and my wife. Words cannot express the lifelong imprint Lina’s beautiful work has made on myself and my wife’s memories. Her artistry captured not only the unique beauty of our wedding, the scenery, and the venue… but also the love that we share, the joy of our family, and the magic that was in the air that day. We return to these photos nearly weekly, recollecting the day of our wedding and each special moment that was frozen in time. From the moment I saw her work, I had already emailed her requesting her services before even showing my fiancée at the time, knowing that she would be in agreement that Lina was the right photographer for us. I feel that her prices were fair for her artistry, the communication process was smooth and personal from the very start, and she listened to our visions and goals with clear intention to honor them. This was all very important as we are from America, and did not travel to Scotland until the week of our wedding! As such, bonding quickly and trusting Lina deeply gave us so much comfort. Additionally, the included service of an introduction photoshoot was incredibly helpful to get to know her, and ease our nerves being behind a camera. Her personality quickly put us at ease, and we found a fast sense of comfort and friendship in Lina’s company. The day of the wedding she was flexible with the hubbub and chaos that comes with a wedding, helpful with unexpected weather adjustments, and playful in her interactions with us to encourage both romantic and casual captures. We are so incredibly happy with our selection, and would recommend Lina to anyone who wishes to capture the magic, beauty, and whimsy in every moment!

**You’ll be so glad you chose Lina** Wedding photography was incredibly important to us: not just having someone who created beautifully fine art images, but someone who would make us feel comfortable and at ease on the day. Lina wasn’t just a marvellous photographer (which, boy, she is). She was an endless source of enthusiasm and excitement for our wedding. The pre-wedding shoot included in her rates was so much fun; having photos taken isn’t always the most natural experience and Lina put us instantly at ease; getting to know us and making us feel like old friends. On the day she managed to be both fantastically well organised and incredibly flexible. We’d explained the shots that were important to us, which were captured in detail, and the way Lina managed to artfully race between different parties to get all the critical moments was masterful. The end result was everything we could have hoped for. The photos are unreal. Lina’s photography has a moody, ethereal grandeur full of rich colour and dramatic light that really brings out what Edinburgh is all about. Most importantly, her photos capture our genuine moments of fun, tenderness, and intimacy beautifully. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Lena from L&L Photography.
