I’m a neuroscientist, avid autodidact of early childhood cognitive development research, and overthinking mom. I say this to paint a picture of how intensely serious I am about my child’s education. Since we’ve raised our kid in the Montessori method since birth, we wanted to find a legitimate Montessori school for our child, unfortunately many schools very inaccurately just tack that label onto their name. I wouldn’t even call Little Paws a school, I would call it a second home dedicated to seeing your child reach their full potential. They find the perfect balance of teaching both life skills and academics in a way curated for each child. As you can imagine, I’ve visited a dozen schools, mostly Montessori, and this was the only one I felt immediately sure of and that hasn’t changed. Instead of the bells and whistles of a big fancy “factory-style”school, you get an actively involved humble group of LP teachers that constantly strive to provide - beautiful safe dynamic fun learning environment. The founder of the school, Faith, is a lifelong-student of Montessori and clearly does this as a labor of love, as a passion to see kids thrive. Aside from the kids’ parents, the main teachers, Faith, Vanessa, and Annica, are more dedicated to the kids than probably any other adult in their lives. And part of why the school is so amazing is because Faith has a sixth sense for choosing kids (and families) that she feels will become like family to each other. The only complaint I really have about the school is that it only goes up to age 6 and not all the way through high school because schools like this don’t come about often.

This is a wonderful preschool with caring teachers and a great group of children and their families. The children learn about a wide variety of subjects in creative ways (botany, science, geography, language etc) as well as the Montessori method. Our son attended for one year before graduating to kindergarten- he is well prepared for his next academic adventurez

Our daughter started at Little Paws one month ago and it has been a wonderful month so far! We were initially worried that she would have separation anxiety as she has never left our side before. To our pleasant surprise, she transitioned so well and she looks forward to going to school everyday! We attribute it to the loving educators at Little Paws - Ms Faith, Ms Lopez, Ms Rutha, Ms Elizabeth-ann, Ms Vanessa, Ms Cecilia, we are so grateful to each and every one of you! So glad to have found this wonderful gem in our neighborhood!
