Careese is nothing short of a nail magician. I walked in with hands that looked like I’d been digging trenches and feet that had clearly given up on life—she somehow turned both into something I’m proud to show in public again. Her attention to detail is next level, her vibe is relaxed and fun, and she has that rare talent of making you feel like a VIP while also having a sense of humor the whole session. If your nails need help, therapy, or a full-on miracle, Careese is the one. 10/10 would trust her with my crusty cuticles again.

I started going to La May when they opened as I live in the neighborhood. It’s super convenient because it has a parking lot underground and is by a subway station, but I can walk which is even better. I’ve been getting my pedicures done by Cody Boi and he does a great job getting the job done right and with such high quality work. He helps me pick out the right shade that I’m looking for and has the cutest frenchie he brings w him.

I had an appointment at 11:30 am and was left waiting for an entire hour without being seen. This is completely unacceptable and shows a blatant disrespect for customers’ time. If you're short staffed and can’t honor scheduled appointments, you shouldn’t be taking them. At least you could've contacted me in advance to request a reschedule. Extremely unprofessional experience — Even though the staff was friendly, their management was very problematic. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone. If you value your time, don't go.

Unfortunately it’s a no for me. I have never experienced black dots on the nail base and once I pointed it out to her (Avery) she just added a dot of the color on top. I spent $210 vip pedi and gel x mani. I have gone to other locations but this one I was disappointed on my mani nail tech. I am paying this amount. The only reason I did put a 2 star instead of 1 was because my sister nails were fire!!! Her nail tech was so detailed and offer her a complimentary drink and even introduced himself. I did not get the customer service.

I had a great experience with Cody! The pedicure was done with excellent care and attention to detail, leaving my feet feeling refreshed and well taken care of. Cody’s friendly and engaging conversation made the whole visit really enjoyable. Also, say hi to his sweet Frenchie, Bella such a cutie! I’d definitely recommend booking with Cody!
