I first visited the shop last summer during the celebration of the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary at Golden Gate Park. This place has tie dye from hundreds of different artisans! And the inside of the shop has tons of historical photos of Haight Ashbury and some pretty epic tapestries too. I highly recommend checking out the floor as well, trippy 3D floral design that pops out as soon as you walk in.

I was having a bad day and then I walked into the store and the staff there was just so amazing and fun. They completely changed my vibe for that day. I bought some cool tie-dye shirts and a really cool Star wars hat. Overall fun place to be. High quality art work.

Love on Haight is the perfect throw back to everything that made the 60s special. Beautiful handcrafted tie dye, great vibe, great music, fantastic team that work there from the their greetings at the door (and to tour buses which is a must see) to check out. I can’t say enough about it. A true staple that makes the city what it is…

What a magical place to shop in and see! From the bright beautiful colors on the outside , to the hand made tiedye in the store!! Between the smiles of the employees and cheerful demeanor, there is no way to leave in a bad mood. If you have some time, this is a MUST see on Haight street!

I appreciate that they sell the handmade art of hardworking small businesses. But, be warned, they also sell accessories that are from Temu. I got a hat for $22 to later find out that I could have bought it online for $2.50. Now that's what I call a rip off... it was upsetting because I love this store, I have many fond memories shopping here as I've aged over the years. I spend a lot of money here. I thought all the clothing items they sell were made by small businesses. This proved me wrong, and makes me cautious about shopping there in the future. I still like my hat (not as much now that i know its cheap) and I understand they need to pay their shop rent? But yeah... just be careful. Maybe ask before you buy something if it's made by a small business. They should have tags letting us know if they bought it from temu ;) instead it had the "this product has been hand dyed" tag attached to it as their tie dyes do, too. So... I think the fact I was mislead makes sense... Anyway.... still 3 stars because I know they sell reputable products as well.
