This place is always classy. From the door people to the ushers. For all my big people out there like myself I'll give you a bit of advice. The chairs on the floor are more spacious than the ones on the balcony so if comfort is your thing pay a little more to sit closer. Really there's not a bad view in the house. One of these days I'm gonna try out the box seats and dress up like abe lincoln ;p

I saw Demetri Martin here in December 2025. It’s a beautiful venue and smaller than I expected so I imagine it’ll be perfect for certain genres of performances. I usually don’t get any parking included but this time I did and since the theatre is in downtown Dallas, the parking was well worth it. It is a solid 5-minute walk and safe as long as you stay near a group of people. Oh and their popcorn is really great!

I have attended 2 shows here - Abba Mania and Fab 4 The Ultimate Beatles Tribute. Both were great! If offered pay for parking in advance - then you have a space and cost is lower. ADA issue - no elevator for public to get downstairs to restrooms.

This venue is absolutely wonderful. The seats are comfortable, the band onstage was visible from the balcony even with lots of heads in front of you. The sound was great and the architecture was visibly beautiful too. I recommend the Majestic Theater in Dallas very highly.

The Majestic Theatre in Dallas is one of those rare cultural treasures that manages to feel historic, intimate, elegant, and alive all at the same time. From the moment you approach the marquee on Elm Street, you sense that you are stepping into a place where performances are not simply seen — they are felt. The restored early-1900s architecture, the ornate gold finishes, the velvet seating, and the warm glow of the stage lights all create an atmosphere that honors classic entertainment while still welcoming modern artistry. But what truly elevates the Majestic to something unforgettable is the music and the extraordinary bands they bring. Whether it’s a jazz ensemble, a symphony-style backing group, a soul-driven rhythm section, or a touring Broadway-caliber orchestra, the sound inside this venue is nothing short of brilliant. The acoustics carry every note perfectly — not too loud, not too sharp, not lost in echo — but rich, warm, and full of emotional texture. You feel every beat in your chest, every saxophone run sliding through the air, every guitar vibration floating into the balcony. It is a venue created for live music, and it shows. There’s something magical about watching musicians perform here. They seem inspired by the space, feeding off the energy of history and audience connection. You can tell they enjoy playing here as much as the crowd enjoys listening. When the performance reaches its peak, the entire room becomes united — strangers sharing the same musical heartbeat. Experiences at the Majestic Theatre are the type that stay with you long after the curtains close. It’s not only a Dallas landmark; it is a gift to anyone who appreciates live performance, timeless craftsmanship, and unforgettable music. Thank you to everyone who continues to bring life, talent, and unforgettable shows to this wonderful venue.
