So I haven been here in a while, I live close so decided hey a Philly on a Friday night sounds good. I order an original and one of the others that had some other items added. 20 minutes after I order still nothing except everyone who ordered before me, about 3-4 who ordered after me and several uber drivers I ask about my order, which then the guy checks and says oh it’s a little complicated it should be soon… pretty sure they forgot to make my food… Another 15 minutes goes by and several other people who came after were served I finally got my food… And of course they forgot to add the cheese on the original “Philly cheesesteak”…. Like seriously, and it was to go so I didn’t even know till I got home… Then, the meat on the original was crazy salty to go with it all… So anyways, won’t be back, definitely a lot of better options in the area to say the least… (especially when paying $32 for 2 basic Philly and a small fry… smh)

Will definitely be returning!!! Three gentlemen working were friendly, funny & professional. They split our Malik in half since we were sharing without asking. How thoughtful! 😊 Thank you. The Malik was very tasty, full of flavor, ribeye was super tender. Fries were fresh, flavorful, crispy & made to order.

Malik’s always come through with delicious cheese steaks. They are made to order always fresh hot and seasoned perfectly. If you like cheese make sure you get extra since they put the cheese under the meat it doesn’t look cheesy. I went on a Sunday about 4pm and the Mexican lady who made my food was awesome she made my food with love. (FYI) I didn’t know Malik was Malik Rose who played with the spurs.

Probably the best spot in San Antonio for a proper cheesesteak. Bread is good and it holds the meat and cheese well. Fries are excellent. Can’t ask for anything more. Out door seating is great and we were able to watch a game while dining. Lathe shared spot is cool and provides options for everyone. Lots of activities too. Will definitely be back next time I’m in San Antonio.
