Great to have a wine shop that carries older vintages of good wines. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

I went in looking for a nice bottle for a gift, plus something mid range for tonight’s supper. I was so unimpressed with the service, I bought the cheapest bottle I could find for tonight and walked out (didn’t want to walk to another store). Staff ignored me, perhaps because I was in a hoodie after a day of visiting Stanley Park? I don’t know but not a single hello, even when I went to the till. Somehow I’m used to staff saying hi and offering to help you find something, especially in a specialty store? Very odd.
