I wanted to share my experience after completing a 6000 graft hair transplant with Dr. RB Moleno at Moleno Hair Restoration in Dallas, Texas. Total grafts: • 5000 from scalp donor • 1000 from beard donor Overall my experience was excellent from start to finish. I started with a consultation months before the procedure, and they had me begin medications ahead of time to stabilize hair loss and prepare for the transplant. When it was time for surgery, I flew into Dallas for the procedure. One thing I really appreciated was the communication throughout the entire process. The clinic was always responsive and helpful with any questions I had leading up to the surgery. I came in one day before the procedure for a planning session with Dr. Moleno. We discussed my goals and the type of result I wanted. They were very open to hearing my input and suggestions. Together we created a plan with realistic expectations, and even with the large area that needed to be covered we were able to design a plan that allowed for full coverage. The procedure itself was done over two days, about 10 hours each day. The staff was extremely kind and professional, and Dr. Moleno was very hands on throughout the entire process, which made the experience feel very personalized rather than just being another patient in a clinic. Dr. Moleno also performed a PRF injection on day 1 before the implanting began to help with recovery and growth. They also provided sprays and cream for both the donor and recipient areas to help with healing after the procedure. On day 3 I came back in for a final cleaning and check before my flight home, which I really appreciated. Currently on day 3 post-op. No swelling and no pain so far. Recovery has been smooth so far. My beard donor area looks almost untouched, and the scalp donor area is also looking great. I’m extremely excited to see the results over the next 12 months. As a childhood burn survivor, I lived most of my life with scars on my temples where hair simply wouldn’t grow. It’s hard to explain what that does to you, growing up looking different, always feeling self-conscious, always aware of it. It affected my self-esteem in ways that ran deep. When I finally decided as an adult to do something about it, I didn’t rush in. I spent over a year researching hair transplant options. I seriously considered going to Turkey, where prices are lower, but the more I looked into it, the more the risks of a botched surgery scared me. That level of dedication and follow through meant the world to me, especially as someone traveling from out of the country. Today, I look in the mirror and I finally feel like myself. My confidence is at an all time high, and I owe that to Dr. Moleno and his incredible team. If you’re on the fence, especially if you’re dealing with scarring or hair loss that’s affected your self image, I can’t recommend him enough. He changed my life.

I can’t say enough good things about Moleno Hair Restoration. Dr. Moleno made me feel comfortable and confident from day one, explained everything clearly, took his time, and treated me like family. I flew from Florida to Texas to have this done with him, and it was hands down the right decision. The procedure wasn’t stressful at all. It actually didn’t hurt, and I was completely comfortable during and after. The hairline he created is incredibly natural. After seeing tons of hairline reviews online, I’d honestly rate mine a 10/10 for a natural look. Even at just five months in, it already looks amazing. I’ll definitely be going back later this year to touch up my crown. Highly recommend.
