Our Company was looking to elevate our online presence beyond our original Square Space site to something with a degree of polish, professionalism and sophistication. We chose Murmur not only because of their impressive portfolio which of course accomplished all those goals at an aesthetic level, but also because our observation of the sites they created was they were reliably functional (too many supposedly high-end websites will always have pages or plugins which don't operate correctly). In working with them we discovered not only a team of top shelf designers and programmers who were able to meet and exceed all of our various form, function, style and substance goals, but also a managerial team whose competence, professionalism and experience were apparent from Day 1. The way in which they quarterbacked the various stages of development made it clear they not only had a wealth of experience in this type of work, but knew from that experience what types of communication problems could occur during the process. Their methodology for asking questions, collecting information, formulating different ideas and giving us a gallery of sample designs to choose from not only helped to streamline our thinking, but spoke to a team of people who knew what problems commonly plagued clients and worked to trouble-shoot those problems BEFORE they occurred. Murmur Creative is an exceptional organization made up of an extraordinary group of really smart, capable, honest, and good people. For over 30 years I built a successful, global, advanced technology semiconductor materials company. DO NOT USE MURMUR FOR WEBSITE WORK!!! We spent 6 figures on a website which does not function properly. Throughout the process, we consistently voiced our concerns and they would talk around us. They demanded we pay them in full to fix our site, which we did, and they still haven't fixed it. Now they are asking to be paid hourly for fixing the problems they created. They were clearly not prepared for our project but were extremely prepared to accept money from us. We are now consulting with other website coders and have been told several times our site could have been built for around 10K (and actually be working properly). Frustrating to say the least. Now Murmur hasn't responded to our last few emails. If you want to be called names and have an agency make up a story about another agency, murmur is the company for you. Just never ask for revisions or for a properly functioning website. Why would I lie about our experience??
