If you're looking for a real, locally owned, truly customer and musician centric shop, you found it. Great shop, great service. All the staff here are super helpful and friendly and Cade, the owner, is a great guy. I've bought a couple things here and had a few instruments serviced by their tech. They've been friendly, communicative, and done great work every time. Pretty sure they've even given me a few discounts over time without my even asking. Their prices are solid and they've always got cool stuff in stock. Can't recommend them highly enough.

One of those places you drive by a million times. But once you go in you see that they actually have a pretty large collection of new & used. Great place for accessories too. Their prices reflect real world used prices too. So I see this place as a time saver now instead hunting all over town for that one pedal. This place probably already has what you're looking for.

It's so great having a local guitar music store in the deep South Austin area. The owner is carrying on the tradition of his family providing a great local music store for everyone. So far I've bought my vintage Gibson amp there, and had a custom guitar project I started finished by them. It plays great. I've bought several pedals and other accessories from the shop and I'll keep going back for more. I also appreciate they keep their instagram regularly updates so I can see what new stuff they have.

While driving back from Austin, I did notice a new little music store pop up in a place that used to house a pizza joint. I decided to take a long lunch and went over there to check it out. The place is an old house that houses the Music store and there is a Salon in the old garage. The owner used to work for Gibson and is great to nerd out with regards to guitar and gear. I appreciated him allowing me to talk his ear off about pedals. He had a great selection of new and used pedals. His prices were definitely reasonable. Ironically, There is a local pawn shop in Kyle who has their pedals priced way higher than this place. When you turn to the left there is a room full of guitars and amps. The owner told me to plug in whatever I wanted to demo it. He was not pushy at all and allowed me to take as much time as I wanted demoing gear. He had mentioned it had a big pedal sale the other day. I did jump at adding me to his mailing list so I can know about these things sooner. I probably would have bought a few pedals that I probably did not need if I had knew about that earlier. He also has repair shop onsite, which is nice. You do not have to find a guy who will fix your guitar, amp or pedal that is broken. It is all under one roof. I am going to have to definitely take him one of my pedals to see if he can fix it for it just to see how it goes. I will definitely be stopping by more often. I appreciated his friendliness and allowing me to talk his ear off.
