Having gone to antique shops for over half of my life, you know when you find a good one. Nick Brock is a very good one. Not too many places out there that have fine quality decorative arts that rival major auctioneers like Christie's. He has a little bit of everything as well - some Chinese porcelain, European portraits, fine furniture, ethnographic objects, etc.

I have shopped this marvelous shop for many years. Every time I find the time to wander through I find objects of lust and once in a while I might be able to “pull the trigger” and obtain a treasure, or two. Conrad is a knowledgeable and cordial guide to all. If Nick happens to be there you will find him to be welcoming and willing to share the history of whatever may catch your eye. The place is a jewel box of the rare and unique.

Great variety of antiques, with prices for all. Purchased a small Spode Italian turreen for $65.00. Fell in love with lots of other items, such as an antique rock crystal chandelier for $27,500...maybe next time. Be prepared to spend time...lots to look at.
