Unfortunately, I have to update my original review. I came in today and the salon was packed, kids running around etc. I received a pedicure which went fine and then had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to be ready to do my nails. No problem. When it comes time for the full set, I ask to see their cat eye colors (which I always get.) They bring me three books that are cat eye but not the options I requested. I inform the woman doing my nails that I want the stand containing the cat eye color options (not the book) but she doesn't understand me. I inform the receptionist who is I assume so busy he also can't locate it. I eventually decide to acquiesce and choose one of the colors from the book. The woman begins finishing my nails and it's not cat eye. Literally just a glitter color. She says she "misunderstood me" but will redo it and at this point I've been there for 3.5 hours so I decline and say it's fine as long as I'm not charged. She agrees, rewrites my receipt even, and as I go to pay and the manager insists I pay for the cat eye because "it's the most expensive color in the salon." I didn't argue and paid but left without tipping. These people do solid work, but will nickel and dime you for whatever they can get, even when they ADMITTEDLY make a mistake. I legitimately don't understand how no matter what I get done at this place, I end up paying the same. Whether it's a full set or a refill. They have a price they want you to pay and they will charge you for whatever they can until they get there. I actually am willing and have paid far more for my nails, but this is not an honest business practice. Very disappointing. reply: Prices are NOT confirmed with customer ahead of paying, not in any of the three times I have been there. Your employees frequently need another employee to translate (so how could the depth of explanation before and after service you claim occur?) If the color I wanted is no longer available, that should be explained. Your employees never mentioned that the availability of cat eye has changed. Never. No one explained anything to me, and in fact my technician agreed to lower the price because of her mistake and the owner (I assume the person replying) disagreed with her and then explained I would need to pay the full as it's "the most expensive color in the salon." There was no room for discourse, so I paid. So sure, your salon does good work. Your customer service and the claim of "transparency of prices" however, leaves much to be desired.

Hi, this is my first time here, there’s a little wait. But everything was pretty good to me. Even they are busy, my service was not rushing and still done professionally. The receptionist are welcoming, and friendly to me. Also there was a guy i thinks he a manager, he going around to make sure everyone good and happy.

I am literally so disappointed in how today went that I won’t be returning after today. This was probably my 4-5th visit. & Despite all those visits, the unprofessionalism and "tone" from some the staff today was completely unacceptable. And notice that every bad review they have an argumentative response. That reflects terribly. {Edit: Notice they said that my google meeting led to attention being shared which led to dissatisfaction, when my original review focuses more on attitude. One bad review is an anomaly, multiple bad reviews means a trend.} 1. Poor Service (Yanna): Before I even joined a Google Meet on my iPad, Yanna rudely lectured me that she’d need both hands—as if I haven’t been getting my nails done for 10 years. She spent the service speaking about me in her native language to coworkers, seemingly annoyed that she was doing a gel manicure instead of acrylics. They also laughed while whatever was being discussed which is extremely rude. When I asked her to fix an unevenly painted nail, her frustration was obvious. She had a very clear attitude during the service which made me uncomfortable. The pros are she is usually great at what she does, but clearly she had an attitude about something before doing my nails and it translated into her service today. 2. Staff Confusion & Attitude: The gentleman at the register was untrained and told me my total was $124. I asked for an itemized receipt for my $124 total and went to the ATM to withdraw $200. When I returned the regular attendant assisted him with the receipt but it just shows totals for hands or feet but not all the actual charges they put on. When I asked for an explanation of the $78 charge for my feet, a third woman spoke to me condescendingly, and Yanna even jumped back in with an attitude.. you would’ve thought I was arguing that I wasn’t going to pay the way I was treated. Summary: When all four of the people were done talking to me, the price was correct. But also I wasn’t arguing over prices—I was asking for a respectful explanation of what I was paying for. And if you’re going to talk to me condescendingly (Yanna and whoever the older woman was), you are both testing my patience as well as insulting my intelligence. If you get annoyed by basic corrections on painting or questions, you’re in the wrong line of work. TONE is everything. I ended up only tipping Anna (as she and the second gentleman seemed to be the only helpful people) and left. I only did two stars because the experiences before, today was definitely a one-star experience.
