The staff at Oakes Animal Hospital have been awesome. I have a sweet German Shepherd who is extremely fearful at the vet due to a series of painful ear infections, that were handled poorly (at a different vet, where the staff was afraid of the breed, and during covid, so I couldn't go in). My shepherd is challenging to treat because he is 90 lbs of desperately trying to leave. Many of the staff at Oakes have large working breeds themselves and are quite comfortable working with them. They have just been terrific with working with me and my dog, being creative in coming up with ways to minimize stress for him. It is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you so much for that and your kindness in treating him!

I cannot say enough good things about this practice and the people behind it! We have two dogs with some issues we hadn't been able to resolve at another vet after years of trying. The attention to detail, compassion, delivery of data with which we can make informed decisions, and consistency in the level of care we have received have been incredible. We have met with several different providers over the years, and each of them have been so kind. Our dogs are our first babies, and we have found the staff at Oakes treat them as such. Our older dog has SERIOUS vet anxiety, and their demeanors really help put her at ease. They legit get down on the ground with us to assess her. We've even had a major surgery needed unexpectedly, and they took such good care of our big 75lb boy. We also have a lot of our clients at Venture Dog Walking who share with us the positive experiences with Oakes. The staff here are exceptional and an incredible resource for pet parents in our community. I feel so grateful to have found them and to have people who can walk alongside us and guide us as our dogs age. They're truly just incredible people.

I have not used an actual vet since 2019. I was use to taking my girl to the mobile vet due her great health and the low price. However, at the end of 2024, she began developing a growth in her genital area. Labs are prone to lipomas so I didn't think much of it -- however it kept growing and growing and GROWING. I recently moved to this area and knew she had to be seen. I was dreading going back to a vet, just due to cost and not knowing them -- I looked up several offices in the area and felt the reviews for this one was best. Guess what? I was RIGHT. I can not say enough good things about this office. The people, the care, the price, the communication, the expectation -- they met all of it. I felt like my girl was in the best hands for surgery to have her lipoma removed. They made me feel SO at ease and they loved on Church like she was their own. I would recommend this place all day. They will definitely be my vet from here on out! Thank you Oakes Animal Hospital!!
