Finally, authentic Tonkatsu (deep fried crispy pork chop) arrived Columbus! Although a lot of Japanese restaurants serve tonkatsu, it's never anything near the authentic one served in Japan. But luckily we can now taste it in this shop. The tonkatsu here is super crispy and tender. The upgraded chicken thigh is extremely delicious as well. I highly recommend it to you. I advise you to avoid peak hours if you want to sit and enjoy the meal there as the tables are limited. (Around 15 seats in total).

This has been on my "want to visit" list for a while and I hope it's on yours too. I was finally able to swing by for an early dinner and it was delicious! Pork was cooked beautifully with a nice crunch, the soup warm and comforting, and the cabbage salad fresh and delicious. This hole in the wall does one basic thing a handful of ways, and does it with excellence. Only thing to note is seating is limited as it is small, but take out is an option!
