Limited selection for men with a medium-high price for a dress shirt, $10. They let me use one of their bags when Buffalo Exchange refused to oblige. Staff was down to earth & had a great attitude.

Just had an odd time-wasting experience with Out of The Closet. On Monday I booked a furniture donation pickup (very nice barely used leather powered sofa, recliner and a TV stand) for Thursday. Email confirmation said they would contact me on Wednesday night for an approximate pick-up time. When that didn't occur I called on Thursday morning and was told the driver was on the way and would call me with a pick-up time. Five minutes later the driver called and relays - Based on the pictures you sent, we probably won't take your furniture. I asked why? Response - the leather looks wrinkly so it might be too old and the TV stand doesn't look modern enough for us. But I can come if you want but we'll probably reject the donation. I said don't bother I'll donate to the Salvation Army as I usually do. First off the leather is not wrinkly it looks the same way it looked when we bought it from Star Furniture a few years ago. Also, you could have told me you didn't want the furniture days before I took time out of my day to arrange to meet you to make the donation. Avoid these folks for donations unless you have a lot of time to waste.

TL;DR Not good for donating furniture anymore. The store is great and I recently used them to donate furniture using their large item pick up service. I've done it multiple times in the last and the men have always been very nice even when they wouldn't accept things (like Ikea bed slats). But this time, it was two different people doing the pick up. I had a velvet accent chair in like new condition that had a light layer of dust on it. He said it "wasn't acceptable because of the dog hair on it". I also had a like new vinyl record holder that would retail for $300 or more even used and he took one bare look at it from the truck and said "no not acceptable". I don't know what Out of the Closet has changed, but it's really disappointing as I don't want to donate these things to companies like salvation army or good will and they have accepted things like this in the past. The man made no effort to explain why they were rejected other than "we don't want that" and "dog hair" (regarding the dust on the chair). I also hadn't received a confirmation email that the pickup was even happening at all. I called customer service and they said the pickup people would call when they're on their way. Very different from previous experiences. RIP.

Do not donate your items here! The personell will not help you to unload your donations. I drop off 10+ bags of clothing. I asked David S. For help unloading he replied with if you want to donate it You have to bring it inside yourself I can't touch your items... Its clear to say I am not pleased by their poor customer services. I drove 40 min to donate my items at this location bc I read their cause and where the money is going towards... But this terrible experience let me know that I should continue to donate at my local donation center.

I tried to donate a complete living room set. They came out and refused to take the set because of three belimisheson the sofa. I thought that I'd you are donating out of the kindness of your heart that you would accept it. I have attached pictures of the set and the blemishes they discredited my set for donating. I wouldn't donate anything to this place, not even my spit.
