TL;DR - Found metal wire in my cheese corn "small plate". Everything else was average despite being the number one rated KBBQ place in the area. Service fumbled the opportunity to make it right. REVIEW - I'm really disappointed with how a serious issue was handled here. During our meal at Oz Korean BBQ (Bradshaw), I found a thin, curvy metal wire-like object in my food. I immediately notified our waiter, who brought the manager over. The manager acknowledged the issue and took the metal wire back to the kitchen to "check something". After that, there was no follow-up at all. No explanation, no apology, no check-in. Our party of seven finished our meal, paid the bill, and as we were leaving, I went to go look for the manager to ask what the verdict was. His response was simply, "Want free dessert?" -- after we had already paid and were on our way out. Mistakes can happen, but finding metal in food is a serious food safety concern. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication, accountability, and urgency from management. This situation could have been handled much better but I won’t be coming back. Thank God the small plate was not intended for my 15 month old!

I was visiting the city alone and wanted authentic Korean food. The serdvice was warm, and the staff even suggested dishes I’d never tried. The kimchi jjigae was comforting, spicy, and rich in flavor, perfect after a day of walking. The interior had rustic touches mixed with modern design, giving me both comfort and a sense of cultural immersion. A memorable stop on my trip.

We went here with a group of our friends, and had an amazing time!! The drinks were delicious and the food was delicious and fresh. We loved our server Autumn! She was so on top of it and was so fun and helpful :) Thank you to David too! We had a great time.

I had been wanting to visit a Korean BBQ restaurant for a long time. I’m a huge fan of Korean dramas and Korean food, and I’ve already tried nearly every Korean restaurant in the area. But when we came to Oz, it turned out to be the worst restaurant experience of my life — worse than any small cafés or cheap diners I’ve ever been to. The food was terrible. I honestly don’t understand how anyone can make meat taste so bad. The sauces were awful, cheap, and clearly poured straight from a giant can. The marinated meats were inedible; the only thing that was somewhat acceptable was the steak. The vegetables were raw and tasteless, and aside from soy sauce and BBQ, there were no proper sauces at all. The corn with cheese dish was just ridiculous — bland, boring, and lacking any originality. Service was also extremely slow, clearly done on purpose so customers would order less. We waited more than an hour for our food. This was probably the only place where I’ve ever felt so disrespected — being forced to wait for over an hour even though they told us it would be 30–45 minutes at most. And the worst part? There were plenty of empty tables the entire time. I asked the waiter why, and he gave some nonsense excuse about a “fundraising event.” But later, those same tables were still only partially occupied. At least 30% of the seats were empty the whole time. It really felt like they were creating an artificial waitlist. It’s absolutely not worth going there — it was a disgusting experience. To be fair, our waitress herself was fine — she took the order correctly and did her job well. I have no complaints about her personally. But the restaurant’s system and food quality were just awful.

The food was tasty and fresh. I liked how you get a bunch of little appetizers all you can eat included with your main course. While a bit pricy, you get a heaping giant scoop of either vanilla bean or matcha (green tea) ice creams. This is a seperate charge. The waitresses were all very polite and it was amazing on how many times she kept checking in on me and my wife to see if we needed anything. The only down side is it was WARM inside. I get that it's August, dead summer and 99*F outside, but I wasn't that comfortable during my stay. Overall, it's a good place. We chose this over Blue House.
