I can’t say enough good things about working with Max. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Max helped me out with my personal taxes this year, following me moving across different states! He was thorough and was able to complete everything within an hour, in what would've taken me several hours. One thing I wish they had their site was pricing. I didn't see it in any of the reviews which is why I'm typing my review. I was told on average this service costs $400-$700, depending on what you're filing. I wasn't aware of this until I asked about it. However, this does include access to a group for a year (maybe more, I don't remember) who will protect you if something goes south with your taxes. The other thing is that it was estimated that I owed a substantial amount of money for taxes, and when I asked for an explanation, Max noticed he missed a step and I owed about 15% of what was initially quoted. Which I also appreciate his openness to double-checking and quickly resolving issues. Overall, Max is a really great guy and will efficiently get your taxes done! Be sure to ask questions and know you're responsible for your own taxes - just saying, you're going to get the best if you ask away. Max is great at explaining things and it doesn't seem to burden him. If you're okay with spending that much money to relieve anxiety and pressure around taxes, I highly recommend him. Depending where I'm at next year, I'll probably go back and see him again! The four stars is mainly because of the lack of price transparency before going into the appointment.
