I’m not a client here, but I called to get set up for a consultation for my simple tax filing this year, with only 2 W-2s. I normally have these filed for around $175 with my old CPA (out of area). However, the girl on the phone told me it was $1,500 for a basic tax filing…. That’s actually the most insane thing I’ve ever heard of. Hope she was wrong, but during tax season, should really make sure she’s giving correct information and not losing potential clients for the business.
