Jazzy and Jae’ona slayed my hair and makeup today. I went here to get ready for a wedding and they went above and beyond to make me feel so good. I am so happy with my experience here and would recommend to anyone!

I love the Primp and Blow brand (have been several times in Houston) but frankly had a poor experience at this location. Due to extraneous circumstances, I was running 15 minutes late to the appointment which I completely recognize is my fault. I notified them beforehand and when they called, I told them I understood if my original request would have to be modified because of the time. I was prepared to pay a cancellation fee, reschedule, pay extra, etc. However, the moment I came in, my stylist was short with me. I asked for a soft, 90s-esque blowout with curled ends and showed her a picture of how P&B has done this ask for me before. Rather than telling me it would be unfeasible, she proceeded to make comment after comment during the appointment about how "I had too much hair" or "I've done hair for X years and know this kind of hair doesn't curl" or "we don't have much time". Whenever I would reassure her that I'd be okay with just a simple blow dry or whatever could be done in the time we had, she would make a face at me. All of that to say, I was trying not to cry the entire time and had to get out of there. I completely understand it was my fault for running late but 1) I am still paying full price for the service. 2) I was very willing to compromise. 3) I had no concept of our actual appointment window, so I had no idea how 15 minutes less of an appointment would affect our time. My suggestion to P&B: 1) Offer different appointment times for types of hair so the stylist is not caught off guard. 2) Write in parenthesis how long the expected appointment time is for the customer. 3) Just a little bit of kindness goes a long way for a customer. I unfortunately do not think I will come back to this location. Appreciate y'all doing my hair anyway.

I’ve been a Primp and Blow member for almost two years now - I go about twice a month, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite little luxuries. It’s always super easy to get an appointment, everyone there is so kind and talented, and I walk out feeling like a more put-together version of myself every single time. Pro tip: request Jae. Every stylist is great (truly, I’ve never had a bad blowout here), but Jae is next-level. My hair lasts for days and somehow still looks freshly done. If you’re a blowout person, just get the membership. It’s worth every penny.
