Just a short seven-minute drive south of King Street and Anchorage Brewing, you'll find Ravens Ring Brewing Company—a hidden gem. Ravens Ring taproom is what I would consider a more intimate and cozy setting; especially compared to other tap rooms around Anchorage. The two-story taproom is great for couples and small groups looking for a more personal beer experience. Andrew's favorite beer here was the "Rye So Serious", a tart but not to sour, sour ale. Ravens Ring doesn't just brew beer; they also produce a range of non-alcoholic sodas, including the refreshing Limonati (lemon and lime), the vibrant Fizzy Pixie (pomegranate, lemon, lime), and the intriguing Driller Chiller (grape and lime). Additionally, the brewery does cater to those with gluten intolerances by offering a small selection of gluten-free meads, wines, and ciders. As you enjoy your drink, take a moment to appreciate the artwork adorning the walls. Some of the art was created by individuals at the Hope Community Resource. This organization is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. We don't often see this sort of community engagement at breweries, and it offers a meaningful and personal touch here.

I can't say enough good things about this Brewery. They opened down the street from us last year, and as the only brewery in South Anchorage, my spouse and I closed our eyes and crossed our fingers and said "please, let this place be good". We were in luck because this brewery is fantastic. The owners are so friendly and personable, and they apparently have great taste. The menu rotates often, which we love. They have a great selection of beers, sodas, and gluten free meads/ciders/wines. We love going in to see what new creations they have. The logo and merch is awesome too, so we don't mind repping when we can. We go nearly every day if our schedule allows it. It's an awesome location, very walkable and bikeable if you're located on the Southside, and conveniently near other shopping if you have multiple errands. They also partner with other businesses and keep local fresh ice cream in store in case you want dessert (or a soda float!) They usually have a food truck out front most days as well, and they're working on having small bites inside as well (recently had soft Pretzels and cheesecake made in a smoker - it was all so delicious!). Plus they're always willing to get creative and try new mixes between drinks, and they do growler and crowlers to go! They've also got nice dog friendly patio seating, and an awesome upstairs room with a funky chic vibe and plenty of seating for your next party. This brewery is a must see!

Can't describe it better than cozy. Love that they have wine, mead, and cider in addition to the usual beer. Server was super friendly. Upstairs is a really nice seating area that's perfect for lounging and enjoying your drink.

Came across this gem while driving back to the airport from Sewerd and needed one more Alaskan brewery before heading home. Tasty beer and a really friendly, comfortable feeling tap room. Loved the IPA on tap. I normally don’t like super sweet and sour beers but these small pours hit the spot. Will definitely come back the next time we are in Alaska!

Our friends brought us to this cool start-up brewery on a Sunday. They had a food truck outside and a steady crowd. The magic is in the pour, though. Regardless of your flavor, they have a nice option for you. I particularly enjoyed the brown and the Porter, and my wife had the Grape Juice, which is a higher gravity option which my wife describes as similar to an exceptionally well made traditional sangria. Cool vibes and great beers. Cheers! 🍻
