Dr. Ki helped me work through recovery after my ankle tendon repair surgery. As a very active person, my goal has been to return to 100% mobility, but it's been difficult to find a PT clinic that provides the attention to detail and hands-on attention necessary to get past "basic" mobility. His assessment was very detailed, he identified my mobility gaps and laid out a plan to progress over the course of my recovery. He spent a full hour each session with me, paying close attention to my biomechanics to make sure I was doing everything correctly. He also set up a portal with at-home exercises so I could continue my progress during the week, which has sped my recovery up. After 2 sessions with him, I even signed up my fiance - who is 1+year post recovery from debilitating nerve damage in his foot, but still isn't back at 100% - for an assessment. And after months of no progress, Dr. Ki helped him identity some ways to improve his mobility. 10/10 I would recommend Dr. Ki, he's the best - a great communicator, very patient, and super knowledgeable about even my most detailed questions!

I’ve had a terrific experience doing knee rehab with Ki! He’s don’t a great job of adapting when lower back issues have cropped up and finding way to address it through the program. He’s super knowledgeable and a great communicator. I feel so much stronger and more agile after just a couple of months of working with him. Highly recommend.

I found Krishan after doing an in-depth search for a private practitioner who would provide truly focused, one-on-one care. I came in with a complex injury to my hand, arm, and shoulder from a fall. Krishan created a detailed, targeted treatment plan that felt both realistic and effective. Having been through PT before for a variety of injuries, I could tell right away that he understood exactly what my body needed. He explained everything in a way that made sense for my specific body mechanics, and he was collaborative, listening closely to what I felt was or wasn’t working. My recovery has progressed extremely well, with each exercise thoughtfully building on the last to help me regain strength and function. As I improved, we shifted toward a balanced plan to support my return to sports. As with any physical therapy, you have to do your part at home, but I truly believe my elbow would still be locked and my nerve in pain if I hadn’t found him. I highly recommend Krishan. Rock on :)

I came into Odyssey Performance Physical Therapy dealing with a lingering groin, hip, and knee injury from playing frisbee that just wouldn’t fully resolve. I had already worked with a couple of other PTs over the course of about a year, and while their exercises were technically “correct,” they didn’t really match the stage I was at—so progress felt frustratingly slow and inconsistent. It was starting to feel like something I’d just have to work around indefinitely. Working with Angela at Odyssey was a completely different experience. The exercises were not only more targeted, but also surprisingly creative and tailored to what I actually needed in the moment. As someone who tends to go deep on YouTube research, I was honestly impressed by how novel and effective her approach was. The progressions made sense, the sessions felt intentional, and I finally started seeing real improvement. Overall, this felt far more personalized and thoughtful than my previous PT experiences, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone in Oakland dealing with stubborn injuries.

I've been going to PT with Angela for a few months now, initially to help with a calf injury, but it has expanded to work on several other issues. She has helped a ton, and my body is in better shape now than it has been in several years. The work is highly customized to my needs and as problems arise, we can shift to focus on them, unlike having to go back to insurance for a new referral and Dr visit for each little thing. It is a premium way to do things, but it has been worth it to me to invest in my health and prevent more severe future injuries or problems.
