Dr. Baird helped me stopped needing spinal injections and postpone surgery! I lived on a 5-7 out of 10 pain and in working with him, I’m now around a 3 pain. He’s super knowledgeable, gives realistic advice for in between visits, and I feel comfortable no matter how I feel about my body. Seriously best healing vibes and pain reduction from Dr. Baird’s practice!

I came in with a lower back pain flare up, my muscles were feeling really weak and tense, and I left feeling confident that Sandy had done something very right for the pain I was dealing with. The next day my back felt strong and pain free again! Sandy is really attentive and gentle and very intuitive. I highly recommend his work.

Dr. Baird is amazing, he is caring, skillful and responsive. I was referred to Dr. Baird at a time when I was limited in mobility and experiencing a lot of pain. Within the first session he offered me relief. I needed several sessions, but have financial limitations and Dr. Baird was accommodating to my needs. I am feeling a lot better now within his care and would recommend anyone in physical pain and in need of adjustments to schedule a visit.

Chiro isn't the first modality I seek out when in discomfort but i'm grateful a friend recommended Dr Sandy. Their approach is so different from the quick pop and crack I tend to avoid! He took time to listen and to work with the muscles not just the bones. The bodywork he does before making adjustments makes a world of difference in how my body can receive the changes. He communicates and describes what he wants to do and asks before each maneuver. Thanks to his sensitive approach my nervous system is at ease during treatment and that goes a long way.

I'm a queer Pilates teacher and I'm actively trying to expand my network of queer body workers to support and have in my network. My beloved chiropractor moved across the country and I was nervous to try anyone new because I have osteoporosis and it can be exhausting to share my sordid bone and break history with a new provider. I found Sandy on a queer in Oakland list and decided he could be a trustworthy option. I couldn't have been more right. I didn't realize that be was a masseuse before getting into chiropractic but it's clear that he can work both muscles and bones. That was a refreshing combination! The intake procedure was relatively simple and his follow up questions were meaningful and stress free. The adjustment was him opening up some muscles with massage techniques and then doing an osteoporosis - friendly bone adjustment. I left feeling taller and more balanced. More importantly—I left feeling seen and heard and taken care of. I'll be back!
