I recently visited this furniture shop and was impressed with the variety and quality they offer. The showroom is well organized, making it easy to explore different styles. The staff was polite and very helpful in guiding me to the right choice for my living room. Prices were reasonable and the checkout process was smooth. Delivery was on time and everything arrived in great condition.

I purchased a couch from room and board in a non in-stock fabric that took a few months to be delivered (this was expected). The delivery was seamless, on time, and inexpensive (I believe it was like $150 for an almost $5000 purchase). Immediately upon receiving the couch I realized the color was just not right for my space, despite having seen samples in person - but I decided to sit with it for a while to see if it grew on me. It did not. A month or so later I reached out to customer service to see if there was anything I could do to exchange the couch for another color, and to my surprise they said yes! I went in a few times to look at fabric samples and finally made a decision maybe a month later. I was able to keep my original couch during the 8 week delivery window, they just asked I put a sheet over it to minimize the potential of any damage. I couldn’t be more grateful for this customer service experience and I am in love with my new couch color. It’s been about a year since this experience and about 8 months since I’ve had the new couch, so I felt the need to leave a 5 star review. I would 10/10 recommend room & board for the customer service experience alone, and I hope to be able to give them my business again in the future!

I purchased a painting for over $2,000 and was promised “white glove delivery.” Instead, what I received was nothing more than a standard UPS drop-off at my door. No care, no placement, no service — just a courier box like any other delivery. This is a clear case of over-promising and under-delivering. When a company advertises white glove delivery, customers expect premium handling and service, not being left to unpack and manage it themselves. For a purchase of this value, I expected integrity and professionalism. Very disappointing experience — I will not let this go unnoticed.
