Ray was great—he initially missed a few spots but promptly returned to correct them, which showed excellent customer service. One area for improvement is training on assessing when a car can undergo paint correction. Typically, experienced shops or detailers can determine by looking at and feeling the affected area whether correction is possible. Ray initially said it was, but after he had already started washing my car, he realized the scratch was too severe to fix. The issue here is that if I had known from the start that paint correction wasn’t possible for that specific area, I likely wouldn’t have proceeded with the detailing wash. Better upfront communication in such cases would be helpful.
