Illuminate at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens was a spectacular exhibit. The combination of lights, art, and mechanical whimsy sparked the imagination at every turn. The gardens itself did a great job of guiding you through the journey. Truley a wonderful family experience for the price.

The venue although is gorgeous; I’m leaving 2 stars for the security staff they had working at a quinceanera on Aug 2nd. Myself and my team was set up as a vendor next to another vendor for this event and witnessed extremely unprofessional behavior from a security officer. They curse and called names to the vendor over serving of alcohol. Instead of de-escalating the situation the security officer escalated it and used profound language in front of all the kids there with name calling and threatening the vendor. From my understanding the cops did show up and ended up removing the vendor, but from myself and my team members perspective and watching the entire thing unfold in front of us; the security officer lied to the officers about the situation and unfortunately the vendor was blamed. Although the vendor did respond back to the officers antagonists threats and name calling I felt the security officer is definitely the one in the wrong and we were floored by his behavior. We felt extremely unsafe with how he acted (not discreet at all) and did not use level headed tactics to address the situation.
