Pierre and team did an excellent reupholstery job on my wife’s favorite Mr. chair and hassock. Our cats had their way with this Ethan Allan set for a few years so they looked terrible but uber comfortable. The good folks at SJ Custom Upholstery made both prices better than new 🤗. My only observation is that like many artistic folks, they could be more organized & have a standard quote/estimation sheet. I made one for our project so we would have a point of reference. It’s not a big deal but good to know going in. It’s still a 5 ⭐️ service in my book.

They reupholstered our dining chairs and a set of bar stools, which now look lovely. The owners are helpful, well educated, skilled, and easy to communicate with. The work is fairly priced and well done. Unlike another place I'd been to, their shop is well-organized and does not smell musty. If i have more work, I'll come back.

Dan, at San Jose Custom Upholstery, was very helpful, helped me select a fabric, and they did a great job reupholstering it. They picked up and returned the chair, and made the whole experience very pleasant and trouble-free.
