I didn’t read other reviews before booking an appt here, but it seems my experience was consistent with others — super rushed appointment and overall experience. I came in for a mole check, which I recognize is a fairly simple process, but I spent maybe 3 minutes with the doctor who was one of the more brusque practitioners I’ve seen. It was easy to get an appt, but after experiencing the extremely rushed pace, I have a sense the ease of booking stems from them wanting quantity of quality. I wouldn’t return for follow ups or more advanced dermatological needs.

Schweiger Dermatology (formerly CSI) is an absolute fraud. I went to Schweiger on 12/18/2025 to have two moles removed. The doctor used liquid nitrogen to freeze them and told me they would fall off in a week or two. The procedure was not covered by my insurance, so I was paying out of pocket. Total cost was $450, which I paid IN FULL, at the time of my visit, by credit card. 2-3 weeks later, I received a text that I had an unpaid balance. I clicked on the link to see a balance of $450, with no mention of any previous payment. I assumed it was a simple clerical error (it happens) and responded that I had paid in full on 12/18. A few days later, I received another text saying they had no record of my payment. I checked my credit card activity to ensure the charge had, in fact, gone through (it had) and asked them to check again. A few days later, same result -- no record of my payment. In the meantime, the moles I had "paid" to remove had not fully fallen off. So, I scheduled a follow up visit for 2/10/2026 and figured I would bring a copy of my credit card receipt to show them in person. I did so and they said it would be taken care of. They then billed me another $250 for that visit, which was somewhat annoying, as I had thought I had already paid to have this procedure done; but, as the doctor had originally let me know it might take two visits, I paid the $250, in full, by credit card. A week or so later, I received another message saying the original $450 bill was still not paid. I sent a fairly scathing email, saying I had literally shown them the bill in-person and they needed to deal with it. Last week -- almost three months after the original visit -- they finally sent me an email saying the original $450 had been taken care of and was no longer outstanding. If only the story could end there. In the same email, they let me know I still had an outstanding balance for the second visit, on 2/10/2026, and that the balance was not $250, but $1000 -- more than twice as much as the original procedure for which this visit was only a follow-up! I imagine many people who pay out of pocket don't keep track of all this and wind up paying twice or paying for more than what they received. Or they don't have time to deal with the dispute over and over and over again and capitulate. Others pay using their insurance and, since the insurance company doesn't know what procedures were done or not, they wind up paying for these made up charges. Net, Schweiger is a total fraud. If you use them, ensure you go through your billing with a fine-toothed comb. Buyer beware!

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Appointments are rushed — you barely get five minutes with the doctor before they're out the door. But the real nightmare is their billing and admin staff. I had to wait three months to get my medication because they kept submitting the wrong codes to insurance. Insurance would deny it, send it back, and they'd just sit on it for weeks doing nothing. I had to call repeatedly just to get anyone to take action. Every single time I followed up, it was like starting from scratch. To top it off, they tried to charge me for an appointment I canceled. If they put half the effort into their billing that they put into rushing you out of the exam room, this place might be functional. Stay away.
