To the 23 vendors who sell here: - You have curated what you choose to sell beautifully and so thoughtfully. What cohesion! Maybe the best I've seen in Austin. - You desperately need to change who runs the store and interacts with customers or you should all get together and move to a new place. If the gentleman there today is normally who runs it, you're never going to have much luck with selling items. The only reason i went through with the purchases I did go ahead and buy (1/4 of what I wanted to buy) was because I truly wanted these items that much. I've never been in a store where I was more DISCOURAGED to purchase and even big ticket items! I would be so angry if these were my items I was trying to sale. When I asked for clarification on the price of three items. He told me that likely the seller had not gotten around to pricing these items and that I shouldn't have dug in that basket (clearly put out full of items to purchase and where most of it was clearly tagged). When I asked him if there was a way to find out the price on these sheet sets, he told me that there were 23 different sellers, and there was no way for him to figure that out. Upon going back to the basket to look at the priced items, I actually found the tags where the sheet sets had been taken apart. He said that he still could not sell them to me. Next, I asked about a large quilt and if there was a price or was it just being used for display and he said that if I couldn't see the price, then it wasn't for sale. He also told me when I went in at 5:15 that they were closing in less than 30 minutes. they close at 6 o'clock. at 5:35, he began turning off lights, even though my arms were full of stuff I was purchasing and I was continuing to look since i clearly had 25 minutes. I continued to be nice even though no matter what question I had about an item, his answer was the same - They're over 23 vendors, and he had no way of knowing. After my purchase there was no "thank you," even though I made the comment that there was such nice items in the shop and I was so glad I stopped by. He went back to watching something on his phone then quickly getting up and locking the door after I walked out at 5:42.
