I had an appointment across the street at another vision store. After 3 phone calls I was given the wrong information and then gas lighted that I wasn't in the rudest possible way. I remembered having a positive experience at Stanton in the past, so we just walked in, no appointment. Alicia, the Sales Manager identified the main issue we were having and offered to just fix my daughters glasses. Then she just sat us down and listened. It turns out we didn't need an eye examination at all. We just needed my daughters RX. In fact, the most serious issue was that my daughters glasses were broken and stabbing her face. Alicia just fixed them. She was so caring and kind, she touched my soul. Quite honestly, she should teach a master class in customer service. She made customers for life out of us. That is what sales truly is about, listening, identifying the issue and offering that.

The eye exam went fine, but whoever is in management absolutely needs an attitude check. I don't know if it's the manager, or a supervisor, but whoever it was acted so extremely rude to her employees and it was sad to watch. It makes me not want to return despite the service itself being great. Please treat your employees with more respect, especially when they are clearly understaffed and trying their best.

What an absolute scam and WASTE OF TIME. After seeing ad I called and price was confirmed @ $79.99 for exam +2 pairs of glasses. After the exam and long wait, and choosing the 2 frames (which I was told I could choose any of the frames on the racks), I was told cost would be $904.00. Shocked, I told the staffer I had come for $79.99 advertised and confirmed price. I was then told I could choose only certain frames in a small section on rack and that I could not get the lenses for my prescription, I could only get lenses for distance for that price. I spent over an hour. This place is an absolute scam. I decided to get up and leave. Why not just be clear up front? They wasted their time and efforts as well as mine. Terrible business model!!!

I had a super complicated insurance situation and no less than 4 different people helped me, each so kind and helpful! I ended up getting a comprehensive eye exam and a new prescription for contacts and glasses. Would absolutely recommend, I'm very grateful for the help I got at this location!

I drove 40 minutes for what was advertised as a **free eye exam** on your website. I also confirmed this over the phone and was told it would be free. However, when I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist informed me that the eye exam costs $79. I was then told that the exam is “free” only if you purchase glasses from your store — which are already priced high enough to offset the exam cost. That is not clearly communicated upfront. What’s even more disappointing is that I was told the customer service team “doesn’t always have full information” and that next time I should call the store directly. That is not acceptable. Customers should be given accurate and transparent information before they drive long distances for an appointment. This feels misleading and unprofessional. It’s unreasonable to expect someone who has driven 40 minutes to simply accept an unexpected $79 charge. I chose not to proceed, but this experience was extremely frustrating. Clear and honest communication would prevent situations like this. I choose VisionWorks for the free Eye Exam I got my glasses from them as well.
