Our first visit to State of Grace was an absolute delight. I stopped in for lunch with my fiancée and every dish impressed us, from the fresh oysters to the rich crab beignets. The lobster roll and gumbo were full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Everything felt special and satisfying. We are already looking forward to coming back to try the dinner menu.

Sleek menu design and interior. Food was decent, but Texas Pecan Ball will send you in a sugary comma, it feels like the dessert has almost 3000 calories, or so. It should come with a warning. Only one guest restroom per gender that is being constantly used by staff. Almost missed my Uber while waiting in the line to use it.

Nice spot for a quiet dinner and fresh seafood. Would’ve been 5 stars based on taste but my fish had pin bones and for $51 a plate you should be taking the pin bones out. Just saying. But everything else was nice and they even gave out delicious molasses cookies on the way out. Recommended for cocktails and vibes, very cozy ‘90s style fine dining with a causal touch.

Went there for a business dinner. may be moderate noise. Quite enough to carry sensitive conversations. Drinks are fantastic.. vegetarian choices limited. I went for ravioli which was alright. Very attentive service and polite staff in general. Decor and atmosphere is upscale and suitable for high level business dinners.

My fiancée and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner, our server/waiter were awesome! Everything about our dinner experience was amazing, until we were standing by the front door so we could get a couple of sandwich cookies, as we stood waiting, a hostess came over and told us “if no one is in the front desk, and you want a cookie to use a napkin because that’s what they’re there for “. I was appalled that someone would assume we aren’t aware of the proper etiquette when it comes to using a “napkin “!
