My daughter made the decision to major in art quite late, and she didn’t have enough time to prepare her portfolio. Thankfully, we found Stray Point Art Academy, and with the incredible guidance of art teacher Mr. Baek, she was able to complete her entire portfolio in just seven months. Although my daughter is naturally introverted, Mr. Baek has a remarkable ability to patiently wait, gently encourage, and sincerely praise each student. Thanks to his approach, my daughter gradually built confidence and began to take pride in her progress — something that meant even more to us than college admissions. Of course, she was accepted to every college she applied to, but the biggest change was in her mindset and self-belief. Stray Point Art Academy has truly been a turning point in my daughter’s life. I’m deeply grateful to art teacher Mr. Baek and all the staff, and I sincerely hope many other students will be positively influenced through this amazing place and reach their college goals as well.

I had the best time at Stray Point Art Academy for a two-hour gouache painting class! I found them on Instagram a few weeks ago, and when I saw this class pop up, I signed up right away. Registering through Jin was super quick and easy. The studio is so inviting and full of creative energy. Owners, husband and wife, Jin and Mathew, were so welcoming. You can feel the dedication they put into their family-owned space. Our instructor, YK, was fantastic! Her tips made a huge difference, and she also encouraged us to explore our creativity. Even though they’ve only been in the community for a little over a year, it’s clear they’re already a great asset. And the best part? I got to take home my own little piece of art!! Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, I highly recommend checking them out. I’ll definitely be back!
