There’s a reason this one has outlasted just about every other gallery that used to be in the short north. Having a consistent group of artists constantly providing new pieces is the perfect blend of knowing generally what types of things they’ll have while also being surprised by the specific pieces when you get there. The people working there generally are the artists, so they are very knowledgeable and helpful if you have questions about a piece or want to know more about its background. The adorable clay animals are always the draw, but make sure to check out the jewelry case along with the hidden shelf of prints in the back for affordable gift ideas.

Yearly gallery show. Saw several excellent pieces. Meet local artists (some who I know personally). Support an artist. Will return.

Great gallery! Stopped in for some inspiration for a gift. Very friendly, non-pushy but attentive staff. Studio is small but selections were nice. Walked out w/ a new piece from a local artist. Will return

A high school friend [who I have not seen in at least 45 years] recently invited me to attend the 5-5-2019 reception for "Enduring Earth: For Love of the Planet," the May 2019 exhibition at Studios on High Gallery, because two of her works would be in that exhibition. My high school friend had already left the reception by the time that I had arrived so I briefly looked at her two works and then quickly left because another friend had been waiting outside to drive me home. I had been in the Short North yesterday [6-12-2019] for a different reason and decided to return to Studios on High Gallery for a second visit. After entering what I had presumed to be Studios on High Gallery and mentioning my high school friend's two works in the May 2019 exhibition, I learned that I had actually been at Sherrie Gallerie, two doors north of Studios on High Gallery. The woman at Sherrie Gallerie told me that the two spaces are very similar.

Nice gallery on High street. Variety of paintings, glass, clay and other artwork. Some interesting still life artwork and was fun to see artist at work in the gallery
