I had an extremely disappointing experience at Super Star Car Wash, and I feel compelled to share it. When I asked whether the machine gave change, I was assured it did. However, after inserting a $20 bill for a $12 car wash, I didn't receive my $8 change. When I politely requested my change, the staff member I spoke with, named Elliot, responded with a rude attitude. He told me to come back in the morning to speak with the manager. What made things worse was his aggressive demeanor, including a threatening "chill, alright," and an unsettling display of aggression. His tattoos, including one saying “Cuidad Juarez,” on his arm. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. I live quite far away, and being treated this way is not something I expected. I definitely do not recommend this car wash; it felt very unprofessional and unwelcoming. I plan to file a police report regarding this incident and will be sharing pictures of the employees involved.

My truck came out of the wash dirtier than it went in… I usually go to the Miramar location which is 5 stars. I brought my truck to the Mission Valley location today for a wash and my drivers side came out of the wash covered in streaks of black grease. When I went to notify the employee about it he completely tried to gaslight me and tell me it was already on my truck and that the car wash didn’t do it. Very frustrating experience…

I have their highest-tier, most expensive monthly membership($35 per month)and I have to say this is the worst car wash I’ve ever used. I went through twice just to get my windshield clean, and it was still dirty afterward despite all the brushes and equipment. The vacuums barely work, and the staff isn’t friendly or helpful. This will definitely be my last month with this company.

Over a month ago, I went to Super Star Car Wash to have my car washed. As my vehicle entered the conveyor, something on the system struck my wheel and chipped the powder coating. I immediately documented the damage with photos and reported it to the manager on duty, who directed me to file a claim through their corporate email. After waiting a full month, my claim was finally assigned, only to be denied within 24 hours with a generic response stating their equipment was not responsible (image attached). Looking through other reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only customer who has had their car damaged here. This has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever had. In the end, I paid $25 for this place to damage my vehicle.

1st and last time at this car wash for me. The line was very long to pay, which isn’t a problem, however there were 4 employees working the pay stations and I was stuck behind a a car when the pay station malfunctioned. 12 cars went through the other line before I was able to reverse and change lines. After the wash I noticed the track from the roof of my car was knocked loose. Then the vacuums were out of service. Pretty disappointing experience.
