I questioned if I needed to take my son to a kid specific salon for his first haircut. I’m so glad I did! Cynthia was patient and managed to work magic on a fussy, squirming 1 year old. His 2nd haircut was even easier, which I credit to them creating a positive first experience and a safe environment.

We’ve been coming here for over a year and a half and always book with Stacey. She’s incredibly consistent, patient, and never gives a bad cut. She started cutting my son’s hair when he was 1, and now she cuts my daughter’s hair too. Boys’ hair can be so tricky, and Stacey absolutely nails it every time.

We had such a great first experience at Super Awesome! I called ahead and walked in, and Cinthia greeted us right away. It was our two year old son’s first real haircut (he’s only had one before), and she was incredibly kind and patient as he warmed up to the chair. The car-shaped seats and fun waiting area made everything even easier. We absolutely love how his haircut turned out and will definitely be coming back to see Cinthia again!

A beyond wonderful place! The team is so welcoming, the salon itself is so clean & cute -- and it is way more relaxed than some of these other crazy salons for kids that feel like factories with tons of screaming kids crying in the lobby. My son enjoyed his first hair cut here and it was everything we'd hoped for and more! He didn't cry during the cut and our hairstylist was so brilliant -- cutting his hair exactly like the photo I'd brought in. It's an absolutely handy spot on the West Side and a great option for folks in Samo, Venice, Playa Vista, Culver, etc. Go there!!!

We had the BEST time at Super Awesome on Tuesday morning. My youngest turns three this weekend, and it was time for her first haircut. The team and atmosphere were most welcoming. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, including my other daughter (4), who tagged along as a spectator. On top of that, the salon was clean and spotless. We got a great first cut and we will be back! Thank you for such a fun experience!
