The food was good, and the place looks nice, but never go at 10 p.m. when they are aboutto close. Even though they close at 11 p.m., if you go around 10—maybe even just 10 minutes past—they won’t really want to serve you. Everything inside feels rushed, like they’re trying to get things done quickly and want you to leave as soon as possible. It’s very uncomfortable to eat like that. Don’t go after 10, because the atmosphere becomes very uncomfortable.

I ordered the Crack Cocaine and Island rolls, along with gyoza. The gyoza was absolutely delicious—easily the highlight of the meal. The sushi rolls were very large, which initially seemed like a plus. There was a good amount of fish on top, and the flavor itself was enjoyable. However, I didn’t care for how oversized the rolls were. Most bites were dominated by crab (or imitation crab—it wasn’t entirely clear), along with a heavy amount of cream cheese. This overwhelmed the rest of the ingredients and took away from the overall balance of the roll. It felt like the rolls were bulked up with cheaper ingredients to increase size, which gives the impression of a better value than it actually is. While the rolls are certainly filling, the excess feels unnecessary and detracts from the quality. Additionally, the name “Crack Cocaine” for a sushi roll is inappropriate and off-putting. I won’t be ordering from this establishment again.

Food is good. Waited over 35 min for my food and there was only 3 other tables, no reason to take that long when the place was super slow.

The food is great fresh and atmosphere is great. It's not super fast, but we are never in a rush when we go, so no complaints. By far our favorite restaurant in the area.

Sushi Hook is an absolute gem — fresh, flavorful, and consistently impressive. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome, and the service stays friendly and attentive the whole meal. The sushi is the real standout: rolls are beautifully made, generously portioned, and packed with fresh ingredients. Whether you’re into classic nigiri, creative specialty rolls, or something fried and fun, everything comes out tasting clean and well-balanced. The presentation is on point too — you can tell they take pride in their craft. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or grabbing sushi with friends. Prices are fair for the quality, and you walk out feeling like you got real value. If you’re craving fresh sushi and great service, Sushi Hook is absolutely worth the visit. Highly recommend.
