My friend and I decided to get tattoos and found Shanky on IG and based on his Google reviews, we decided to go for it. We had the BEST experience! He was calm, patient and super cool. He helped us both with sizing and location. He never rushed us and didn’t seem annoyed with our indecision. He was so chill and made us feel comfortable the whole time. He really wanted us to be happy and took the extra time to make sure we were. I am so happy with my results. So is my friend. His fine line tattoo work is awesome. I ended up getting two and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Shanky!

The shop had returning annual clients there when I arrived — people who come back to him every year — and honestly, that says a lot about his work and reputation to me. My wait was short, and from start to finish the experience was great. He’s not heavy-handed, keeps the conversation fun, and works fast without sacrificing quality. His precision and creativity are seriously impressive. He did a phenomenal job on my tattoo — I’ve already gotten so many compliments on my newest addition. The shop was super clean and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We didn’t have to wait long at all, he was able to get us in quickly which was such a nice surprise. He also gave us some soda while we waited. The prices were really fair and the whole vibe was just friendly and laid-back. You can tell he cares about making you feel comfortable. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely come back!

My sister and I wanted sibling tattoos and my daughter wanted snake bite piercings. We didn’t have an appointment but there was only one other person getting a tattoo before us so we only had to wait about 20 minutes. My daughter went first and Shanky made the process so easy and fast, she didn’t cry or anything. My sister and I ended up getting our sibling tattoos and we each got an additional $30 tattoo. It was such an easy process and the vibe was so good. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come here again for another tattoo next time I’m in Seattle.
