I was very let down by our experience at Terra. We had heard many people praising this restaurant and finally tried it. Inside, the ambiance is overall well done with decent lighting and decor. We started off with the sour dough. The bread was overall a little bit dry but we did enjoy the smoky flavors in the bread and butter. We then got the cavatelli and strip steak. The steak was fairly chewy for my liking and could have been seasoned more. The cavatelli was generally enjoyable but I have had better pasta for the money. Things that brought the rating down further include the service (slow and not the most welcoming) and the fact that a large daddy long leg appeared on the wall next to us mid way through the meal which I had to remove with my napkin. Overall, I felt that this restaurant was generally very poor value given its high price tag and was lowered by the insect and poor service.

Hostess welcomed us and seated us in a booth per my request. Jacob was our server and offered excellent service. He was attentive and helpful. I noticed that at this restaurant its team effort too. My food was very delicious and fresh. Location is excellent and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. This is an upscale Italian restaurant so expect higher prices. I truly appreciated it the military discount too

We had a fabulous evening at Eataly. The wine, the pasta, the Gelato Cart! Our server, Kaleigh, was patient and gave the best recommendations. She was very attentive while allowing us to enjoy each other's company. The manager, Joanne, stopped by our table 3 or 4 times to make sure we were enjoying our evening. She was very personable and funny! We love coming here!

Terra is one of the restaurants located inside Eataly Dallas. The layout is perfect for anyone looking to take some really artsy pictures as they lay out plants and decorations thoughtfully throughout and there are multiple skylights that illuminate the restaurant. We’ve also dined there in the evening, which can be a little challenging as the lighting situation is non-existent, but perfect if you’re looking for some mood lighting. The entrance is one level above and furthest away from the entrance to the mall. There are stairs and an elevation that takes you directly to the entrance.

We had lunch at Terra as a group of four for first time, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our server, Alex, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food and atmosphere were both excellent. The manager was also very kind and surprised us with a complimentary tiramisu, which made our day even more special. Thank you to the whole team for such a memorable dining experience!
