Make sure to ask for the $30 off from the website coupon! (They will only apply it if you ask before the service begins). This is a no-frills, smog-test-ONLY station in Temescal, just down the street from the DMV. Pros: they got me in immediately (as a walk-in), the test took only about 15 minutes, and the $30 discount. Cons: don’t expect a lot of friendliness from the staff—I think the mechanic spoke a total of four words to me, plus a couple head nods and finger points 😂 All the same, he did his job efficiently, so I can’t complain too much. There’s a waiting room with a k-cup coffee machine, but the cleanliness was questionable. I opted just to wait on the couch (which was, admittedly, comfortable). If you’re in a pinch like I was, this is the closest spot to the DMV for a smog test and gets the job done.
