Good experience with the property tax protest process and results. Would give 5 stars if they either (a) didn't charge a 3% additional fee on all credit card payments or (b) provided another way to pay online via ACH, debit card or some other method that doesn't charge a significant fee. In order to avoid the fee, I must mail a physical check to their office and hope it is properly delivered and applied to my invoice. Surprisingly antiquated payment process in the year 2025. I'd imagine it also creates more headaches for their billing team and slower average payment turnaround times than there would be if they just allowed some form of online payment without a fee.

We have used pro tax to do our tax. Evaluations, since 2015 this year, they did not contact us, They just ran backgrounds on houses that I do no longer own. sent me the bill and refuse to release me from liability even though "we did not hire them to fight the taxes on those properties" This is the last year I will use protax Rob Presson , Harris county texas. And I may file a complaint with a texas attorney general. I never signed anything, allowing them to fight my taxes in 2025 or 2026.

Im very disappointed with this tax protest company. I hired them hoping they would help lower my property taxes, but instead my taxes actually went up 20% increase from last year! On top of that, they are now charching me a fee of $50 "parcel fee" which was never properly explained. The whole experience feels like a waste of time and money. I didnt see any benefit using their service, and communication was poor throughout the process. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone looking for real tax savings or honest customer service.
