Great place, great vibe, great ambience - full of life, and of course great food! Generous portions and fair price too. As someone visiting from out of town, it felt like there were many regulars and a sense of community among them and the staff which was wonderful to watch - a treat in itself watching people having a genuinely good time! Highly recommend! Oh thanks for the wonderful french toast with fruits and custard which was a very specific third trimester craving.

Five Point Café – Downtown Seattle We stopped here on our way to the Space Needle looking for something light to eat, but unfortunately it was not a good experience. I ordered a pastrami sandwich with tomato bisque soup. The sandwich tasted okay at first but quickly became unpleasant, and I couldn’t finish it. Ray ordered the beef stroganoff and only took two bites—the meat was extremely tough and not chewable. He also had hash browns, which were edible, but overall the food quality was very poor. The café has an old, nostalgic feel, but cleanliness was a major issue. There was a fan above us that was heavily covered in dust and dirt, which was honestly pretty gross and made the experience uncomfortable. We also noticed some strange signage, including a warning about drug use in the restroom and a menu that says “Alcoholic serving alcoholics since 1929.” While some may find that humorous, it didn’t land well given the overall condition of the place. When visiting a new city, reviews matter, and unfortunately this is one I would recommend skipping. I hope the owners consider improving cleanliness and food quality, as this could be a much better stop for tourists with some care and attention.

Read good reviews but was super disappointed. Food came out cold. The meat on the French dip was over cooked and super hard and when it came out it was soggy on the bottom and super cold. Steak was super fatty and cold as well. Service was great loved the waiter he was awesome. Joked around a bunch and made us feel comfortable. Atmosphere was pretty good. Very much like an old bar. I liked the vulgar statements on the shirts and the posters those were fun. Price was crazy. 154 dollars for 3 peoples food and drinks. This is not a high class place. Should not of costed that much. Liked that it was one to our venu and parking garage. But overall not a very good impression. I would not eat here again. Maybe just drinks.

We ate breakfast here twice during our extended weekend (why are there so few breakfast spots in Seattle!) and absolutely loved it. Food was great with huge portions (we never came close to finishing). The chorizo is amazing, great taste and not greasy. The French toast my daughter had was so good. A bit pricey, but everything in Seattle is.

Atmosphere is very Seattle. The highlight for us was the food. We got cheese curds ( being from right by the Wisconsin border we know cheese curds). And they were really good! The sauce that came with them was delicious! Different from what you might find in the Midwest. My kids loved their macaroni. The fries were delicious. We almost left before being seated. The host told us that we would be seated in 25 minutes and we waited over an hour. Our service was acceptable but not fantastic. Food was expensive but very good.
