Made a reservation but still waited ~20 min. The manager apologized and gave us 2 appetizers on house which definitely made the experience better. Homestyle cornbread - this was to die for! Wow so good especially with the honey. 5/5 Skillet baked lemon ricotta pancake - pancake was fluffy and moderately sweet with berries. 4/5 Croissant breakfast sandwich - good balance of sweet, salty, and buttery. Only complaint was that the croissant wasn't crunchy. 3/5 Short rib burger - the short ribs was a bit chewy, not tender. The dip made the ribs soften but not enough. 3/5 Truffle chicken sandwich - good truffle hot sauce. One complaint was the fried chicken was not crunchy. 3.5/5 The butchers wrap - my family really liked this one! Good mix of chicken, bacon, and veggies. For me, the sauce was a bit overwhelming. 4/5 Brunch avocado toast - a bit elevated avocado toast with radish and sunflower seeds. Overall easy egg was additional $5 though. 3/5 Lattes were yummy. Not too sweet. They charged $1 for vanilla. The service was friendly. The line of people waiting on tables was chaotic though. They need to really reinforce the time limit. Parking was free in the back but street parking for fee is available as well.

Cam was our server this morning and was absolutely amazing!!! He was so attentive and helpful. He made fantastic suggestions that were spot on! The food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the salmon benedict and the lemon ricotta pancake) and the color burst lattes were indeed fantastic. This was our first time eating at BBCM and we will 100% be back!

Came here on a Friday for brunch (with a reservation) and it did not disappoint. We actually were worried it would be more style over substance, but we were quickly proven wrong. The host and our server were both very friendly and our server had some great recommendations for us. We tried the lychee cocktail and cucumber fizz, both on point. For food, my husband and I split the short rib Benedict (recommendation from our sever) with a side of the delicious & flavorful potatoes. (My partner said they were some of the best potatoes ever!) We also split the lemon ricotta pancake, which was the perfect heavenly ending to our meal! The back patio is also super cute! We definitely would come back next time we’re in the area!

This place has great outdoor seating, perfect for enjoying the weather. The food was okay taste-wise, but the presentation was really good—very aesthetically pleasing and nicely plated. What stood out was the friendly staff. They were attentive and even adjusted the umbrella for us when the sun was hitting our faces, which made the experience much more comfortable.

We went for brunch at 1:30 pm (indoor dining, table for 8) and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was inviting and charming - bright, chic, West Hollywood‐style aesthetic. Our server, Shamera, was exceptional. She greeted us warmly, made thoughtful recommendations, checked in on us at just the right times, - without being overbearing, and ensured everything ran smoothly. Although a service charge was already included, we chose to tip extra because Shamera’s service genuinely stood out. Food was fresh, well‐presented, and enjoyable, in line with the high marks the restaurant gets for its menu of modern California cuisine with European influences and specialty coffee beverages. Best pancake I’ve had (Lemon ricotta). In short: a beautiful spot with great food and truly friendly, attentive service. We’ll definitely return!
