I’ve visited The Glam House a few times for basic trims and have generally had a good experience. However, my most recent visit was frustrating. During my appointment, I was encouraged to purchase a shampoo and hair mask. I was quoted a lower price than what I was actually charged. To be honest, I wasn’t planning on buying these products in the first place, but it was a hectic day for me with a funeral the next day, so I went ahead and paid without thinking much about it. When I got home and reviewed my receipt, I realized the shampoo was significantly more expensive than I was comfortable paying. I decided to return it (unopened), as the receipt clearly states returns are accepted within 30 days if unused. I kept the hair mask because I understand staff may earn commission, and I didn’t want to take that away. When I returned to the salon a few days later, the process was unnecessarily difficult. The receptionist initially told me they only allow exchanges, which contradicted the return policy on my receipt. I was then told to come back another day to speak with a manager. When I returned, the receptionist was more helpful, but the refund still required going through an unusual process. It’s now been a week, and I still haven’t received my refund for the $72 shampoo that I already returned. I’ve called customer service daily and have repeatedly been told someone will follow up, but I haven’t heard back. Overall, this experience has been very frustrating and disappointing. It’s made me hesitant to return in the future.

I booked with Goldie and she was super fun to talk to and pays close attention to detail on her work! She wanted to know exactly what I wanted and was all for it. Easy to work with, can also do quiet parts through the appointment as she focuses very well. Everyone is super sweet at the Glam House and try to make you feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. I had a great time with Goldie!
